It was with great pride and pleasure that I accepted my nomination as President of this great Club.
The Club has been fortunate to have had some outstanding Presidents over the years and most recently Scott Sandford, Paul Barton and John Beazley. If I can replicate their outstanding service I will be extremely happy.
I would like to welcome back the parents and players that are returning from last year and give a big welcome to all our new members.
The Club prides itself on being “a family friendly” Club and we will certainly be continuing in this vain.
With an outstanding Executive Committee and a very young and exciting General Committee to guide the Club I believe we are in for a wonderful season of Footy and a very sociable time away from the field.
The primary role of the Committee is to provide the very best opportunity for our players to improve their skills and to enjoy their footy at the Club. We are a very open Club and if you believe you have ideas how we can improve on this or if you have any problems please do not hesitate bring these ideas or problems to your Executive.
As we face the challenges of the season ahead I urge you all to get behind and support those you have elected to lead and manage your club.... our only motivation is that we do this “for the kids” and the continued development and survival of our Club.
The 2017 Penrith Juniors Presentation Night we were pleasantly surprised to once again be the proud recipients of the Minor Club Championship and our very own (then) President Scott received the Volunteer of the Year award.
We have a very good and hard working committee but it is impossible for the Club to function efficiently without the help and support of the parents and coaches. Roles that we need help with:
Remember everything you do you do it for the”kids”.
Once again welcome to the season and I look forward to meeting with you during the year and having chat..
